Cowboy Christmas Stocking

Probably the favorite time of the year for every child is Christmas because of the fantasies, gifts and laughter it brings along with it. All year round you can make your child behave if you only mention Santa Claus and how he or she will miss out on gifts if he or she misbehaves. Christmas stockings are the first thing that is set up in the month of December and because of their popularity today you can find a great deal of different types of stockings depending on your child likes and dislikes. The one that caught my attention immediately when shopping for Christmas stockings was the cowboy Christmas stocking.

Out of all the different types I was attracted to it because I have a boy who simply loves horses and everything to do with the western and of course the cowboy Christmas stocking was the perfect stocking for him at least for this year. One never knows what he may like next year by this time.

These Christmas decorations are usually inexpensive and therefore you can afford to invest in a different one each year. If you are inclined to do this, why not donate last year’s Christmas stockings to a shelter where other children can really enjoy them come Christmas morning? I plan on donating the cowboy Christmas stocking I bought this year to a local charity, next December.

The stocking I chose for my son this year is very elaborate with stars and medals on it, which almost made it look like a boot out of some western movie; if it was not for the Christmas colors on it I could have easily mistaken it for one. This particular cowboy Christmas stocking came in red and green depending on if you wanted to get it for a girl or boy as let us not forget there are many little girls who enjoy riding horses and western movies as well.

The detail I like most about it is the fact that it comes in different sizes, not because one may be tempted to wear it but because different people hang it in different places and it is important not to be oversized or too small. Also, another great factor is that you can even create your own cowboy Christmas stocking by getting the material and anything you wish to stitch on it; I like this feature as I got a few things separately to add to the already made cowboy Christmas stocking that I bought for my son.

Whether it is a stocking or house decorations, a Christmas themed item allows you to enjoy the atmosphere of the season with those you love. A cowboy Christmas stocking allows you to add a southern touch to your home and your celebration. Have a great holiday season, y’all.
