Garden Shed Designs

Garden shed designs don’t have to be ordinary or boring by any stretch of the imagination. You can use some creativity in a number of ways to make a regular old shed into something spectacular. The process isn’t nearly as hard as you think and I’m going to share some garden shed designs that will hopefully inspire and motivate you. I recently visited a friend who has the most amazing garden shed. This useful structure looks like a tiny, one-room house and it even includes a porch. She has a stone pathway surrounded by beautiful flowers and lovely vines grow on the porch of the structure. This is one of the most striking garden shed designs I have ever seen.

Her husband built the structure from the bottom up. The garden shed design used for this project does not come from a kit. He modeled the structure after an old home that his wife loved dearly. When they moved to the newly build home she was delighted with all of the amenities but she dearly missed her old house.

The garden shed is a replica of her old home. I have never seen anything like it. She loves to explain the details that were put into the garden shed designs in order to make the structure a perfect miniature of her old home right down to the stone pathway and welcoming porch.

Of course, not all garden shed designs are going to have such sentimental value. Most of us just want to store our stuff. People like us are more likely to be pretty happy with a kit bought from Home Depot or Lowe’s. In fact, the very idea of replicating a whole house is a little extreme for my tastes though I did fall in love with the one on my friend’s property.

There are other ways to add some detail to your garden shed designs that won’t break your budget or your back. One thing that can change the entire complexion of the structure is color. Choosing the right color is one of the most important steps in the planning process.

Architectural details can do wonders as well. These embellishments do not have to be in the original garden shed designs to work perfectly with the unit. Adding some wooden scrolls or fish gill designs on the shed will give it a romantic feel.

Don’t forget that garden shed designs are for people who typically have garden stuff to store. These individuals are pretty handy in making a lovely scene out of plants and flowers, too.
